Accessing Swift's FTP Site

We have made an upgrade to our FTP site, making it much easier to manage files from our customers.

 

We recommend that you first STUFF or ZIP your files before uploading to our site usinga a compression program.

DIRECTIONS FOR PC USERS.

Open a Web Browser:

In the address location type : FTP://www.swiftprint.com (do not leave Http:// in the window)

You will then get a prompt asking for a

User ID______________________Clients user name(provided by Swift) Password____________________Clients Password (provided by Swift) which can be changed

The site will open directly into your folder. You will not see any folders nor will anyone see your folder.

You may drag or drop files directly into the open browser which is your folder.

Remember to zip or stuff your files first.
Please make sure to email your customer rep when your file has been uploaded.

DIRECTIONS FOR MAC USERS.

You will need to download FTP software if you do not already have some.
A good website to try is macupdate.com We recommend fetch, however there are many available as
freeware or shareware.

After loading your software and then launching the program, You wil be asked for the following

Host: ftp.swiftprint.com User ID. _____________________Clients user name(provided by Swift Password_____________________Clients Password (provided by Swift) which can be changed

  • Once connected you will see a screen with your destination address at the top.

  • Clicking on the button PUT will allow you to load your files here.

  • Selecting a file from the site and Clicking on GET will allow you to download files from our site.

Under format there is a drop down menu. Here you have an option of what type of format. Choose automatic or Bin. Remember to zip or stuff your files first.

Please make sure to email your customer rep when your file has been uploaded.
